10:00 am - Join our Garden Club at Memorial Park to help plant native plants!

9:00-11:00 am - Passport through the parks (more info to come)

11:00 am - 1:00pm - Summer Camp kickoff (Memorial Park)

5:00-9:00 pm - Stars of 60526 - Amphitheater, Field games (See details below!)

                    

Stars of 60526 Showcase – Performer Call

Celebrate 60526 Day by taking the stage at our Stars of 60526 Showcase, an evening dedicated to highlighting the incredible talent within our community.

Event Details:

• Date: June 5
• Time: 5:00 – 9:00 PM
• Location: Amphitheater at Memorial Park

We are currently seeking performers who live in or have a connection to the 60526 zip code. This is your opportunity to perform in front of your community and be part of a special evening event.

Who Can Apply:

We welcome a wide variety of acts, including but not limited to:

• Live music (solo or group)
• Stand-up comedy
• Dance performances
• Variety acts / unique talents

Performance Information:

• Each selected act will receive a 15–20 minute performance slot
• Basic electric will be provided for plug-and-play setups
• Performers must supply their own instruments, equipment, and materials

How to Apply:

Please email info@communityparkdistrict.org with the following:

• Performer or group name
• Brief description of your act
• Link (video preferred) or attachment showcasing your performance

Selection Process:

This event is a showcase-style audition, and not all applicants will be selected. Chosen performers will be contacted with additional event details and next steps.
