Life is a Cabaret! A musical fundraiser to support The Community Park District of La Grange Park Footlight Players

Join us for an evening of songs and original sketches performed by some of the Footlight Players of La Grange Park's talented young theatre artists. A night of music laughs and smiles all to benefit our own local youth theatre program with all proceeds going towards new microphones for our program. Help us boost the voices of the community's young talent! Thanks to the support of the LGP Parks and Recreation Foundation any an all donations may be tax deductible.

Proceeds will go towards purchasing new microphones for the program.

About the Community Footlight Players of La Grange Park

The Community Park District of La Grange Park is proud to offer one of the most innovative and comprehensive youth drama programs in the Chicagoland area! This program is open to kids ages 6-18 and is designed to provide a fun, safe and creative outlet for personal expression.

The Community Footlight Players of La Grange Park produce a winter and spring show each year. Rehearsals and registration fees are per performance.

Kids of all ages and experience are encouraged to audition for the Community Footlight Players of La Grange Park. The program fee is $199 once a participant is cast. There is no fee to audition.

About Our Director

The Community Park District is excited to announce the Footlight Players of La Grange Park has selected a new theatre director, Spencer Douglas Clark. Clark is a Chicago based artist and has worked for multiple theatres in the greater Chicagoland area, including the Children’s Theatre Project/Youth Theatre Project in Rockford. He has directed numerous performances including Cinderella After the Ball and Disney Channel Original Cabaret as well as choreographed performances of HAIR, Elf Jr., and many others.


All performances are located at Park Junior High.


Rehearsals are located at the Community Park District Recreation Center, 1501 Barnsdale Road. Please note, not all characters are required to attend all rehearsals.
