COVID-19 UPDATE: 11/17/2020

With the Governor Pritzker's announcement that the State of Illinois must operate under new Tier 3 mitigation strategies, most Community Park District recreational programming is transitioning to a virtual platform beginning Friday. If you are currently enrolled in programming through the Community Park District, please watch your inboxes for information regarding your program on November 18, 2020.

Again, our staff continues to work to design fun and nimble programming that can be delivered safely. Our goal is to ensure that our community stays active, connected (even at a distance), and healthy - both today and tomorrow.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Jessica Cannaday, executive director at 708-354-4580 or email jcannaday@communityparkdistrict.org.

Pet Policy Notice

We have seen a significant increase in people bringing dogs into park tennis courts. This is in direct violation of park district policy.

Dog waste in these courts is not only a public health issue, it is damaging to the courts-especially the courts at Stone Monroe Park, as they are covered in artificial turf.

Please remember it is the policy of the Community Park District not to allow pets in our parks. Out of respect to the welfare and full enjoyment of other park patrons, we ask that you leave your pets at home when visiting the park.

Please notify us if you see violations of this policy by emailing jcannaday@communityparkdistrict.org.
